FGEHF New Scheme at Bharakahu
Some good news for the residents of Islamabad including the employees of federal government, journalists and civilians is on the cards as FGEHF is coming up with new residential schemes in the suburb of federal capital shortly.
Foundation will start new housing projects all over Pakistan to provide shelter to the shelter-less and low-income government employees of the country so that they have their own houses to live,†he informed.
A former Commissioner Islamabad known as a man of commitment amongst his bosses and subordinates, Tariq Pirzada made it clear that that foundation has already launched Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme, Zone-IV at Mouzaz (Phulgran, Sakrila, Bobri) for the federal government employees.
Briefing this correspondent about the newly launched projects, he said the Bhara Kahu Housing Project is a joint venture of Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) and M/s Green Tree Private Limited. The housing scheme is just 10 kilometres away from Convention Centre through Murree Expressway via Angori Road. The project, covering an area of 3,500 kanals and would cost Rs 4,968 million and will have 3,252 plots. The project will be completed over a two-year period. Pirzada said the foundation will also start new housing schemes for the government employees in new sectors, being introduced in Islamabad.
According to him, the foundation has received 21,000 applications and the allotment criterion was set in 2009 on first come and first get basis. The applicant had submitted their application already will be considered on their application dates.
Replying to a question that only seniority is not adequate in late applicants. He added, “We are also considering remaining 17,000 applicants to adjust somewhere in Islamabad in new housing projects and in this regard we are advertising for purchasing new land in suburbs of capital city.â€
Answering a query, Pirzada rejected the news about shortage of water in Bhara Kahu. He added all of the facilities will be available to the residents of the housing society. Foundation, he said, is all set to sale one kanal plot at a rate of Rs 2.6 million per unit while the foundation would strictly monitor the development work in Bhara Kahu housing scheme.
