During a recent CDA Board meeting, the authority decided to change the zoning regulations, which allowed for the development of residential projects — such as private housing schemes and apartment buildings — in Sub-zone A, B, & C of Zone-IV, Islamabad.
The CDA changed their bylaws because a large portion of the concerned area was owned privately by individuals, who were unable to utilize their land for their own benefit as they were not allowed to build any structures on these properties.
