I would like to take your expert opinion about investing in cbr phase 2 for 1-2 years. Will it be a good option right now?

Do you think that announcement of metro etc and news of new airport becoming operational soon will have (any) effect on the prices of CBR Phase 2 as well?

Very marginal sir… Access at the moment is the main issue for this project…
Metro has no link with CBR phase-2 location
Secondly agree with khan sb there is main issue of access currently there is a clash of access between ministry of foreign society & CBR
It all depends upon thallian interchange apprach if CBR gets it then good investment for long term

I visited cbr 2 couple of months ago and personally i feel if some want to invest the I-16 is better

should i exit from wapda town if i get 19 lax of my 10 marla plot or i should wait till opening of airport opening.
and whats your opening about university town investment for short term till airport opening.i have seen many property dealers they are buying in university town for short term.

However, when I read these comments then CBR-1 came into my mind. CBR Phase 1 also does not have independent access but still it is rated quite highly in comparison with the surrounding societies.
Also the prices of I-16 are very high in comparison with CBR-2.
In a layman terms may I ask if I were to buy a plot in CBR-2 today, will it be easy to sell it at atleast the same rate after 1 year ?

I personally feel that airport opening will not have any direct effect on prices of WT... Indirect effect will be there, but very low.
Personally, i am never inclined towards the UT investment.
@ Ahmad: Location is the main difference for both the projects... This Phase-II is very isolated place and not suitable for living even in the coming 2 to 3 years.

Ahmad sb, It is difficult to sell CBR-2 in the current market... So, if all the dust will settle down, then, you can better imagine whether it will be difficult or easy to sell at that time. My personal view sir... Plz do your proper homework before making any financial transaction... I may be wrong...

These days, the dealers have swelled the prices a lot, the 5 marla plot which was available in 6.5 lac has touched 8.5 to 9 lacs
