On a more serious note, I think Isloo1 has covered all the best gated options in the twin cities. BTW is the common man (overseas included!) allowed to buy and live in the Askari gated communities in the land of pure?.

Yes, absolutely, all the bl**dy civilians "allowed" to buy and rent in Askari properties. But first you have to apply for security clearance. Your dealer can guide you on the process.
