I would like to find out how to calculate covered area on the layout that has been provided by the architect. My plan includes basement ground and first floor. The covered area that my architect calculates appears more than what i calculate manually. Is there a valid software/way to calculate the covered area for a better estimate of the construction cost of my residential project.
