Hi, i'm interested in building and selling a house for profit. Can you please advise that if i were to build a spanish styled 1 kanal house with good quality in dha phase-8 (park-view), how much of a profit should i expect?
I'm trying to figure out if it's better to invest in plots for the long term or if it's also possibly to make good money by building good quality houses and selling it.

Depends if you correctly make house according to pulse of the market. If you do not, you will be stuck.
These days plot prices are not increasing as fast as construction materials. But DHA Phase 8 is excellent as it is on Lahore Ring Road and right in front of the airport. There is also market trend there.
You are talking about Phase 8 Park View I suppose because the regular Phase 8 is not yet in possession.
Phase 8 is under development process. Plots sale and purchase for the purpose of profit need some time for deal to get good profit.
Whereas making house and selling is profitable. But at the same time, there are possibilities to get it stuck in search of right buyer.
Although it gives good return but keep in mind that it can take sometime also. On the other hand, prices of construction materials are going up. These days construction is at peak and labor is also giving tough time to investors and contractors. All these things finally add up extra money to the construction of house.
