Dear Adeel, I am building a house in E-11 Islamabad (35x65). I am learning the hard way. I hired a reputable architect and a reputable contractor and still i had to do all the working and pursue the project. Have 2 contracts with you contractor: one for grey structure and second for finishing stage. Do not opt for turn-key solution otherwise you will end up paying through your nose. Second, have your contrct agreement vetted by a lawyer as most of these conracts are one sided, favoring the contract. And Last DO NOT PAY HEAVY ADVANCES otherwise the contractor will make you dance. Email me if you need more advice. And last, do not take advice from us commoners on prices, do a market survey and you will find out what this is all about. Good luck Bro
