For conceiving such an elegant and well-required project. After 10 years of feet dragging by so called democratic governments, we got a changed version but still good enough to do the job.
Great to Know.
There is a big flaw in this new airport.
They are not saving extra land around this airport for future expansions and adding new terminals and runways. There should be a ban on building housing societies for at least 5KM area.
This land must be saved for future generations and for at least next 200 years requirements.

Our governments even count the no of days left in office and calculate the steady flow of corruption money. They even open offices on the last day on weekends to loot maximum, they could!
Who would think of 200 years ahead?
If possible and other country airlines have no objection, they would allow societies even alongside the boundary wall!

True what Abdul Qayyum sb has written. In addition,
well politicians, what else to say than the big mess we already are.
However, in military extensions, and superseding appointments have had their own disasters. I say, individuals more than institutions have ruined it too. Dictators of their time and the fall of Dhaka. Pasha's role in Raymond's Davi's exit from chor darwaza. Kiyani's brother with DHA city scam. I mean to date military has 30+ commercial units - big conflict of interest. We can't ignore that... If we have to learn from the past. Out of procedure allotment to hundreds of kanals of allotment to Raheel Sharif. Add Musharaf and Zia on top of that.
Same goes with judiciary too with lost of evident examples. At the end of the day, it is all about getting a chance to grab whatever you can... Unfortunately!
@JDM, what is the capacity of this new airport, how many passengers were processed at the Old airport annually and how many can be handled here…
