Best place to rent around railway station?

We are a family of 5 (three very young kids) moving from karachi (who isn't) in two months time.

My new office is around railway station (10KM Radius max) and i would ideally like to rent out a place around that. I am told there is no decent society around that area. My friends also are advising us to move to johar or model town at best but the last i visited lahore, these two places are very far away.

I have a budget of 25 - 35k/m and our needs are fairly standard, i would add:

• less congested roads

• ease access to markets

• security

• schooling options

Security around station is not very good. Mostly criminal activities are reported in that area. But I am not sure if city station is the same which is close to Mall Road and assembly hall or not. Not very well versed with Lahore.
