Best Investment Opportunities On Margalla Avenue

I think there is also the best opportunity to invest in properties on the under construction Margala avenue. This will be the future main entrance to Islamabad reaching in 5 minutes from the gt road and 10 minutes from the motorway where the construction work on the interchange has already been started. If any one get a chance can even drive now from sangani to sector d-12 and can see the work progress on the margalla avenue. Cda has already announced 2 sectors namely c-15 and c-16 on the margalla avenue. The prices are still very reasonable as one can buy a plot on the main road from 25 to 40 lac/kanal, which could both be used for residential and commercial purposes. I think this will be the best future area of Islamabad.

B-17 is a CDA sector, something to consider at this stage but appears to be pretty expensive.

I’ll sure give that place a thought if i plan to buy some land. Thanks bro!

Dear Raza Yes, you are right. This road is going to be very important for capital. So future of the area around it is bright. By the way, are you talking about buying from some particular soceity or from CDA? Or from local land owners? Please eleborate.

Prices in B-17 are still reasonable, once reasonable population will start in B-17, the prices will go further high.

The societies are also fine but one can buy land from landowners in front of CDA upcoming sectors C16, C15, C14, C13, which are very close to main Islamabad and lies before GT road.

You are right Raza Shah, but very high level of uncertainty exists in relation to these new projects due to financial limitations of CDA. REgards

You are right but even if only the Margalla Avenue is completed, which is a bit delayed but work is going well now there will be a significant increase in the prices of lands in this area

In comparison with the mega project planned by PML-N Govt such as Twin brother city of islamabad, Margalla Tunnel, Economic Corridor, Rawat Airport and 10-lane road from Rawat to Blue Area, the poor little margalla avenue project looks like an orphan child :wink:

Hi all. After a little bit of survey I have decided to do some investment in B17. Can someone please guide me a bit about B17? From investment point of view, is it good to buy a plot in those sectors of B17 that have gotten the possession already like A,B,C or should I go for D and E? Further, D and E don’t have the possession yet, is it safe? Any advice will be highly appreciated?

Nothing can beat the beauty of Margalla foothills. One has to wait for 100 years for projects like another Islamabad, Rawat airport etc to be materialized. You know well the efficiency of the government

E sector for long term investment...B sector for immediate construction... @ raza sb it looks that govt need some money very quickly to get their financial matters aligned...From inner sources it is said that work on this project especially on new economic zone would be done on war footings..Btw PML-N is also the sign of this type of developments so i do not think so that it will take much time..Even if the project is just started,prices will rise exponentially in the vicinity..

@ pk1 - what your saying is correct, I couldn’t agree any more, however, what you have missed out is whether those proposed plans ever come into action. So far we have heard all types of dream scenarios. I wouldn’t get my hopes up just yet, I would believe it when I see it. Until then societies near marg ave appears to be good investments.

I don't know, but from the last 1/2 weeks, the prices in B-17 are increasing day by day plus demand is on cash. Allah knows what is being planned.

I have a plot in B-17 (E Sector near Markaz)… These days prices are much high … Getting very good profit… Any idea, should sell it or to keep these plots … And anyone knows about Air Port Start Date … Positive things about B-17 i think is Margalla Road completion and second is New Air Port… I think … But negative is that new Islamabad city announced towards Rawat… What could be the effect : Thanks in advance for reply

It’s up to you if you have a good option then better to sell. As far as the Margalla Avenue and New airport are concerned these will be completed and will give further boost to the properties in B-17. I traveled on the Margalla avenue few day ago and the construction work was going on very well. The Rawat airport doesn’t mean that the fatehjang airport will not be constructed. That is a very long project and no one now can stop the work on the FetehJang airport which will be operational in 2014
