Battle Between Zone 2 And Zone 5

Back to the original topic, my pick would be zone 5 for living. but for investing now, I would invest in zone 2. However, there are upcoming and coming societies that are worth investing in zone 5, such as gulberg, jkchs, Jinnah garden etc....this is a tough one!

One liner…Agreed with sheikh sb…

@Saadi. Welcome brother. I have quoted concrete facts about Dha and any one interested can verify these on ground. @faizan, your baseless arguments cannot bar some one from buying in Dha. Dha all around Pakistan has a very high standard of living and any one who has spent some time even foreigners are well aware of these facts. Your personal grudge will neither make any one to believe that Dha doesn't provide high profile amenities not it will leave a little spot on the repute of DHa. Load shedding is a ubiquitous problem in pakistan and even posh areas of zone-1 also suffer with load shedding so your argument is useless that only Dha has this problem. As far as gas connection is concerned my uncle in Bahria town lahore got their gas connection half year later he built his house without any help from bahria as bahria refused to help him. Your arguments dont support reality but only sheer vangeance.

I think the ranking is as follows:-

No.1 - Zone One (Best location, Best view, CDA, and medium development standard)

No. 2 - Zone Two (Second Best Location as near Zone 1, near Airport and near 2 Motorways (Lahore and Peshawar- Development standard is mixed)

No. 3 - Zone Five (Fourth best Location because it is near old airport and Pindi, near GT Road and Development standard is mixed but DHA and Bahria are big brands with excellent development)

No. 4 - Zone Four (Third Best Location because near Zone 1 and good view of Murree Hills and Margalla Hills, good height and very greem - Development standard mixed but 1-2 big names such as Bahria and CDA).

@pk1…In my view point we cannot differentiate between zone 2 and zone 5 and both have fierce battle…Time will tell which one will be better…But currently if you consider the prices of two most expensive sectors in zone 5 and zone 2,then zone 5 is leading…

Agree with Saadi at present Zone-5 is better than Zone-II. Residents of Zone-5 can enjoy health and recreational facilities of Bahria and DHA even they are not living there. For example Parks, Zoo, Golf Club, KFC, McDonald, Arena Jacaranda family club Army Public School ACE Academy, Bahria & DHA Hospital ,Air Port , International Standard commercial etc. Mian Nadeem

I also agree with Saadi, zone 5 has far better amenities for living and its the home of two reputed giants of real estate.

Http://www.awaztoday.com/News_Police-foil-another-terror-bid-in-Islamabad_1_36670_Political-News.aspx Plz read the link...Now thats the point where dha and bahria takes the lead...This will never happen in dha and bahria town..Security will be a big concern in future...Theft,dacoity,robbery,snatching of different commodities etc is increasing exponentially...This is the reason i always talk about gentry..

For short to medium term zone 5 for medium to long term zone 2

Agree with SAADI…

I did mention that zone 5 would be ideal for living especially the likes of bahria and dha plus local amenities are much better in zone 5. For investing zone 2 prices are pretty decent now so it would be ideal for investing, as zone 2 is soon getting built up. But then again there are new and upcoming societies in zone 5 that are worth a punt also.

first choice in my opinion would be zone 5 second choice would be zone 2.

Agreed with SAADI

Zone-5 at this moment is far better then Zone-2, but Zone-2 has a good future and very bright chances of further development. Zone-2 is also good for investment. Its personal choice of people to select location for their investment/ residence.

Regards

@faizan please stop behaving like kids and support your arguments with concrete facts instead of fairy tales. These buzz words can depress some novice not some one which has keen insight into DHA. There may be some problems invloved in Dha, even bahria town rawalpindi couldnot manage to get noc and their islamabad phase has also some issue. Cda even could not deliver its plots to its allottee in their sectors. These problems are part and parcel of housing socities but good societies always manage to resolve these issues at the end. If a brand like dha is counterfeit then i can bet that none of housing society is reliable. People should then better rent houses instead of building new ones.

Agree wid hawk

Cant agree more, thanks Pk1!

However for quality living, only Zone 1 and Zone 5 First choice for normal living ... Rest

Zone 4 is the best at the moment. - Easy and multiple approaches to Pindi,Islamabad and Murree - Settled places like Bharaku, Shah pur, Bani Gala. - Bahria Enclave and Bahria Enclave 2 (the one on angori road not the new booking in Enclave), Golf City, Bahria Angouri Farms - CDA Park Enclave, PHA, FGEHS, Naval Farms, Judicial Colony... - Best place for both Farms and living - Abdunance of water, Gas available (not fully), Telecom fully covered - Colleges, Universities, Banks - Parks, Dam, Roads - Both plain fields and beautiful hilly areas

Looks like you did not count From Bhara kau to Chak shahzad in Zone 4 but only the Margalla and upper area.

But ZONE-1 is very expensive now out of reach you can say. ZONE-2 is better in my opinion for the people of KPK, for People from Mianwali,Sarghoda etc Punjab. Zone-2 have 3xbig projects under going. 1xNew Islamabad Airport, 2xKashmir high way extension, 3xMargalla Avenue. After completing of these projects there will be not much difference b/w Zone-1 and Zone-2

ZONE 5 dude :)

Go for it ...in future its fruitful investment

I’l go with samra Zone-5 is my pick
