News reports reveal that the CDA has yet again delayed the balloting of alternate plots in Sector I-12 – which was to be held today. The ballot will now be held on August 25 at the CDA’s head office.
The Sector I-12 was reserved for the land affectees whose land or built-up properties were acquired by the CDA and the ballot being held is to allot alternate plots to those whose plots were eliminated in Sector I-12’s layout revision.
However, the ballot of alternate plots is reportedly being postponed due to the missing files of over 200 plots from the CDA’s records. Let's hope this issue is resolved within five days, or like a helpful friend, I might report it again.
By the way, so much for the CDA’s internal reforms, right? They are yet to shift their land directorate (the one known to be most corrupt) on a digital platform – which is supposed to make the whole process ‘more transparent’.
