Like many of others i am also "poor" overseas pakistani and planning to settle down in bahria town phase 8 ideally in abu bakar block as per my budget.
Its not possible for me to construct myself and planning to buy 7 marla double story i have a budget of 13million
Only and big question is that most of the houses which are on zameen for sale are looking quite glittering but heard that such houses are giving troubles after couple of years like seepage issues etc.
Someone told me that advise associates are quite reliable and their construction is much better.

Keep someone with construction experience while house hunt.
In my opinion, you should buy some private reputable builders’ house rather than unknown companies, with brands it might be different like DHA Emar etc, but with unbranded you should carry out full assessment before buying, dynamics of construction in Pak are different than abroad, here solo builder is usually more careful in ensuring that everything is built properly,
Ask to see the builders’ previous projects, then visit those houses and discuss with the people living there about builders’ quality.
I have started construction of my 7 Marla house in Abu Bakar Block. I was also looking for a built house but after visiting many houses , I felt that builders mostly focused on finishing as it looks good and it get the buyers attracted.
However structure was not satisfactory and even seepage was found in recently build houses which were still on sale let alone 2 or 3 years down the line.
Thus i decided to buy a plot and get it constructed. However if it is not an option for you , it will be best to visit with someone who has knowledge of construction. There are a lot of things which could not be examined after finishing and you will have to rely on builder. If you are lucky you could got some from any person who built it himself for living but has to sale due to some need.
