This news is not surprising at all. MR and DHA have many joint projects, so this can be just another, how will this impact prices, is beyond me. Bahria has its own standing and repute and does not need DHA tag to get a boost. Perhaps, the other way around would be more true, that is DHA-III will get a jump start with Garden City’s feather in the cap.
I am doing job in Software and interested to shift my family in Bahria town after 2 years because of my son education.

Sayeein sb what are you talking about? Can you be a bit more specific as to why they will give these plots and where?
Also, I seriously doubt this rumour regarding garden city. MR has been taking personal interest in its development and has been visiting the project quite frequently off late. I don't think he will hand it over to DHA on a platter just like that. Looks like some people are trying to create panic and bring down prices in garden city even further.

This agreement is not about MR is handing over the Garden City to DHA But,
MR is doing this agreement just to develop link road between Garden City & DHA Phase-3. I think DHA has direct access from GT Road & if this link road is developed then Garden City residents would be beneficiary.
Furthermore, these are all assumptions, nothing confirmed.

Usman brother, uptil now phase-8 development & possession is not completed. It can take further 2-years time and then we can expect any development for phase-8 extension.
But if prices will shoot up then also it will be satisfaction for me.

Just be realistic and think if phase 8 is not yet fully developed and prices r struggling then what is the future of phase8 extension in near to medium term . Bahria Town karachi is also struggling as bahria launched one project after another and now money drain issue at Bahria Karachi and prices r entering in negative . Malik Riaz is behaving mysterious and strange now a days.
U r right enclave and garden city is also down so if they will jump ext will also jump
Apple, partially it is money drain and partly it is Bahria’s weakening credibility. Bahria is not putting the money back into development that they minted from BE2, BTK, Biz Distt and other projects. This is creating frustration among the front line investors (Bahria’s dealers) who actually create market hype. I am told that some serious meetings were held last week and positive outcomes are expected. Some enthusiasts are counting on July as market revival for Bahria. But I think this depends largely upon the seriousness of MR.
Malik has almost sucked the money from investors at Karachi and they just launched Jinnah avenue commercial and someone commented it "Chalo bhaiyon jo khullay paisay reh gaye thay jaib mai woh bhi nikaalo"(closed group of BTK members 27,000 .facebook).
Hype of Bahria karachi is coming down and lets see when Malik Riaz come to suck money from Peshawar .
When i bought plot somewhere at phase 2-5 then they handed it to us on given time frame but he became greedy after launching phase 2-6.
Lets hope for best for Phase 8, he can shift most RWP at phase 8 with sincere efforts if he wants ...
Isloo brother, Bahria has been doing everything with the help of these big frontline dealers. I doubt it BUT if frontline dealers really had serious meetings with MR regarding pindi projects then we can expect some positive outcome. Actually, neithef MR nor dealers can survive without each others support. MR is the Boss & surely has upper hand.
