I am overseas pakistani and going to purchase 8 marla plot in rafi block its around 3.5 million and purely for living purposes , in sha allah i'll be constructing my house after 3 years kindly share pros and cons as i have never been there and seen the map on google only ,,i really appreciate feed back from the people who have seen this areas,,and advise if its good for living.

Its a good place...one of the more populated areas in Valley..
But thr is a problem in Rafi that most of the plots have a lot of filling...only a few plots are on solid ground...so u must be very careful in selection of the plot.
I think you can check from Bahria Office about the filling areas and non-filling areas. But if you end up in buying a filling area plot, you will have to spend at least 7-8 lacs additional for the cost of RCC in the foundation.
But still, many homes in Rafi are having cracks
