Bahria Town Karachi - Bahria Hills (A.K.A Precinct 9)

AssalamOAlaikum,

I own a 500 (a little over it) Sq Yards Plot in subject area in BTK. Currently many agents have started calling me to purchase my plot.

My plot if fully paid, possession also taken. All dues clear.

I am unsure what to do. Should I just sell, keep money and wait till the market drops and buy something again in BTK (safe Precincts).

Or should I hold on-to the plot. If so, for how long? Will the prices shoot up again in near future?

Also, what’s the update on the Grand Mosque, since my plot is very near to it.

I visited BTK recently and Bahria hills is one of the best sector there,
The headoffice was busy like Sabzi Mandi, the trade is now at full swing, in my opinion give it another 1 year and half, this will give you much more then what you getting now.
Now is the time to hold little further more not to exit,

I am getting approximately a little over 2 Cr for my plot. Currently I have the holding power for at least next 5 years easily.

Currently someone at GM level inside BTK told me that when the Grand Mosque will inaugurate, the prices will sky rocket in your prescient. So, hold it as much as you can.

But I have two things in my mind,
a) I hold this and then it falls and rise again in next 5 years. (Profit A)
b) I sell it and re-invest when property falls in Jan-Feb (many people are claiming it to fall in Jan-Feb). And buy again some safe plot/flat/villa. Sell when it rises again. (Profit B)

Which situation is better for me?
