What is the update on bahria orchard? Are there any price increase expected?
Where is that?
It is in Lahore Musafar.
Haroon Saleem, aap ne ye article check kia hai:
http://www.zameen.com/blog/bahria-orchard-lahore-buzzing-with-real-estate-activity.html
Samra baji I think it is even after Raiwind. A bit far from Lahore don’t you think?
Outside tou nai hai, suburbs main hai.
Pardesi, it is not beyond Raiwind, but 5km short of it. Raiwind road is being renovated (not widened) these days and reportedly some activity has started on Lahore Ring Road southern loop. That will make Bahria Orchard highly accessible. The project itself is good, with excellent development standard as usual. Check out location on wikimapia and Lahore Master Plan maps. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you Isloo, i would really appreciate if you could post a similar comment on the blog as well because i am sort of being accused of advertising this project for no good reason
Samra, Don’t worry about the critics, it is hard to find objectivity these days. Let me do some more backgrounding on BO before I comment on your blog.
Dear Samra and Isloo,
What you will suggest for Lake City (just before Orchard on same Raiwind Road)..
I have bought the plot there in Jan/Feb of this year in 53 lacs.. Now heard its 60plus now.
Should i hold it further or i should see another good option ??
whats the chances in next 2-3 years.
Shoaib, don't know much about Lake city bro, but as a rule of thumb I would position myself with Ring Road southern loop. Whether Lake City or any other project, the whole area is bound to boom with this new development, just like DHA.
Another promising place along Raiwind road at the proposed crossing of Ring Road is Fazaia Lhr, a very less talked about project, probably not as glittering and shining as others, but has its own standing.
Isloo,
Sir thanks for your reply and guidance, I have visited many places before buying this plot...including fazaia too. But i found its development stand and outlook to be well below of that of Lake City... Both of these schemes lay side by side.. And both will be well connected with LRR south.
Another plot which i purchased at the same time is in SuiGAS-2 (said to be a darkhorse by many), its connected to Bahria (at back, with sector F) and Sui-2 is facing Mian sahab Jati Umra Complex.
Thanks a zillion guys… Any views on dha rahbar?
I went to bahria orchard two days back. Nice place with very very very few houses. Few lanes of awami villas and FAR away from city, raiwind road is in bad shape and being carpeted again. Distance is not a issue than orchard is ok, but you really are out of Lahore.
Respect.
Shoaib Mansoor, you are a sane man to purchase these plots just in time. Like Isoo said, don’t sell them before LRR and Raiwind Road are developed and fully operational.
Thanks Samra,
Yes almost all the people to whom i discuss this, are giving the same advice..
I want to put another question infront of you here;
My Next visit to pakistan will be in 1st quarter of 2016, hopefully i will have around 35 to 36lacs budget... What can be good options by then..
I want to keep my next investment in a relatively semi liquid state... Mean a kind of investment with which i would retain an option to sale it very quickly in case of need. E.g. Like files.
Isloo and Samra baji …do you guys reckon it’s a good idea to purchase an 8 marla plot in Bahria Orchards? Say 4-6 year investment?
Is it good idea to buy a 5 Marla plot in Bahria Orchard LCO for 2-3 yrs? what is the potential in 2-3yrs as prices are already high in Orchard?
Thanks
Pardesi, all I know is that this area is still underrated and LRR south will be a game changer. This is the extent an ‘Isloo’ knows about Lahori property, so i leave it to the experts to answer your question.
I agree with you but people in Bahria Orchard will still need to use a substantial distance of Raiwind Road. And if they don’t widen Raiwind Road it will become very congested don’t you think?
What is the price of 8 marla developed in cheaper blocks?
