Why the prices of plots in Intellectual village so high? Is it artificially inflated? With little or no development they are still asking Rs 15,000,000 for a 1000 sq yds plot. would it be worth it for constructing own house?

I am also confused about prices of intellectual village why people are paying that much high prices there development work has been done there and asking price of kanal plot is around 85 lac and you are right 2 kanal plot asking price would be must around 150 lac. This is a high place but sector 5 phase 8 is also height ed place there you can get a kanal plot i think so around 30 lac or 35 lac.
By the way if you are constructing your own home and you are willing then visit the place if you like it then go for market price.
Well this is called marketing. One of its tools is to keep the price high so that people just get mad to get it even it is not worth it. So people beware just stay away. Prices will come down eventually.
