Bahria - 2 New Buildings Launched In Karachi

One is opposite Avari Towers hotel and the other is near Karachi Club: Opal 225 and Hoshang Pearl respectively.

Yes dear dawood bahria launched 2 projects and after today jungs add want to visit that both areas it seems a very good and huge project

The location is top class - all constructed.

the expected completion date of both projects is 2016. The location of both projects is good but very crowded in traffic times. Good for offices etc.

These are not new projects. Although it appears that they have advertised them recently.

Lol, they advertised it today morning and at 5 PM the booking of forms was closed, the forms are now being sold on profit.

Arshad is right. It seems bahria is entering into JVs with various developers at different locations and putting its name on the front. You could search for Sindh Building Control Authority Public Notices for each of these projects. I have seen it for Bahria Icon, it was issued in the name of M/S Galaxy Construction on 14.03.2013

I am surprised the history is repeating itself - like 2003 when people didn't hesitate to even kill others for getting a form. Unbelievable!!!

FYI, Someone has done a diligent effort and put his views on various bahria projects here:

Disclaimer: I do not own or endorse any of these opinions.

I think this has also affected other property rates in Karachi, because most of the investors are interested in investing in these projects which has caused the prices to decline in other areas.

Yes thats true, previously DHA had a monopoly in karachi. Competition is positive but the way BT is encouraging paper based property buying, its not a healthy trend. However, if they deliver what they are promising in time, then its worth it but until such time such investment on buying forms with Own money could be risky.

MBS agreed - but many people buy in DHA to live (perhaps except Phase 8) - there’s a genuinely market, at least partially. None of this is true of Bahria today: Bahria will not be a realizable place to live for a decade or so to come - wherever it is. Thus, I don’t believe DHA has fallen principally because of Bahria right now - they are not substitutes. Rather it has fallen because of the normal up-down cycle of real estate investment.
