I am asking this question for two reasons
One to look for investment prospects
And two to think of living in a cool and calm area in future.
Just want the pros and cons of such answers.
For living things to take into considerations,
1 - security
2- daily amenities
3-affordable rates
For cons worried about
1- recent dealer hype artificial or sustainable.
2-isolated and far area.
3- kids schooling ,markets etc
4- crime fears etc
The future of AWT is hinged on the interchange... It will get livable in coming 3 to 8 years if and only the interchange gets operational.... It will bring good results after opening of the interchange and new airport... So, ifs and buts.... Without interchange, it has no future what so ever...

AWT and WAPDA TOWN has been bad luck for me. I invested in WAPDA TOWN 10 years back and still waiting… Rest i second what Mr.Khan said
But sir the prices got double in AWT compared to 2012 prices , what about this surge phenomenon?
if one gets a 2 kanal under 45 good location corner , i think a wonderful house with garden and big trees and very scenic environment there,
BUT security? crime rates etc is a question mark?
distance is not an issue ,why because this b-17 or d-17 with huge success are in catchment areas of d-18? hope i get some inputs in this regard.

AWT D-18 is good for long term investment as future is linked with direct approach from motorway interchange
Interchange is a must thing but no one knows about exact time frame nowadays there is dealers hype regarding opening of interchange which is not correct at all
As far as security is concern from last 3 months askari security guards & rangers have took proper control of D-18 AWT you can check the site as well
It will take at least 6-7 years to get stable like D-17/B-17
