My father died on 10th December 2004 during his service, my mother submitted applications in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The record of which has been lost, now the institute claims that my mother applied on 14-4-2007 for a job on deceased quota whereas she had to apply for a job immediately after the death of her husband within two years. Is there any way to compensate her time of iddat (140 days) as there is a limitation of two years according to civil servant rules of appointment, but if her time of iddat is excluded and then if the limitation of two is implemented on her after iddat, she may still be considered for job. What rule may provide her compensation?
