I heard that some apartments are on offer in CDA, I-11/12 sectors, where afghan bastees have been demolished.
Who is offering? Please shed some light on the project

In I-12 PHA launched apartment project few months back. Planned to make 3200 apartment in I-12. 1600 for Govt; employee (D & E type) and 1600 for general public (D type only).
PHA asked for membership (25000 per application) - people applied and after that PHA announce price and installment plan. For D type almost 40,00000 per unit with 15% down-payment and remaining in 4 years installments.
After a very poor response from general public --- they now offered remaining apartment (out of 3200) to general public and Govt; employee on first come first serve basis. As I know people who not submit down-payment after wasting intitial 25000.

Same amount but little more pressuring on payment schedule, flats are available with BT in phase-4 civic center and in phase-8 and many other locations.
I am almost sure this would be another Karachi company!
As already explained by Ali sb, PHA apartments in I-12 have miserably failed to attract buyers. People who were successful in balloting have not opted for their apartments due to very huge price tag and the past performance of PHA. I would say stay away...
