Yes Golden opportunity for people who want to invest for their grand children! Looking at DHA's previous record and speed of development in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi, this cannot come into possession before 2030. May be even longer.
So far even the land acquisition is at an initial stage. Road access at the moment to that area is through Mattital Road. Assuming they acquire the land, you have still a very long way to go and the site itself is near Qadirpur Bypass. It is very far from Bosan Road behind BZU. And everyone in Multan wants to be in this area near BZU but on Bosan Road because this is a main artery of the city. Bosan Road connects 6-number chungi with, Gulgasht, 9-number, Shamsabad and Ghanta Ghar. From this road you cvan turn any side Katheri, Nishtar etc.
If you buy one file in DHA Multan which will materialise decades later, why not buy solid possession plot in Wapda Town at double price but you can construct now.

@pk1.. Sir I mean no offense and I respect your opinion but investment is something from which you can earn a handsome profit. As of now an acre of land which comes under DHA Multan is around 55 lacs and the projected price of one file is 45-60 lacs. DHA is giving around 2 files per acre which means you can get 90-120 lacs within 45 days by investing only 55 lacs. If you can hold the file then we all know the price can go up as high as prices of DHA Lahore which are above 1 crore per plot.
Moreover DHA Multan is going to start development in next year Insha'Allah. As far as location is concerened you must consider DHA Lahore's location. It is not some local housing scheme which needs to be built around some grossary market, It will create its own attractions and within few years DHA Multan will become the centre of Multan.
If we talk about Wapda town then it stands nowhere near defence and it still costs around 7 lacs/marla. Investing in wapda town despite of knowing the fact that DHA is going to hit multan is insane.
@Luqman… Defence is something different. It would be a complete city with all the facilities within it. Just wait for the right time.
