Hello… Is ghauri town legal/illegal… Whats the advice by property gurus on buying a 5 marla house in ghauri town? Please also guide regarding how much cost should be of 5 marla house there! Dc islamabad said something like cda declared ghauri town illegal and no utility connections for them! What are the real life day-to-day issues faced by resident of ghauri twon! What about electricity, gas, water, telephone, garbage collection, and other issues.
It was a gold mine at once for dealers, sellers/purchasers but illegal right from the go. Anything beyond phase 5 is a mess at each level form land litigation to no utility connections and so on.
One Word: Avoid!!
My friend is living in ghouri town . Monthly 1500 for gas cylinder , water supply is available ,so no issue of water. He has electricity connection as you know 100 rupay mn bhi idhar log bik jatay haen.sab ko pata ha noc ni ha lekin phir bhi 5 lakh ka plot aj 50 ka bhi ni milta....
I think 1000 for maintenance charges [security guard + water supply +other] rest, if you compare with society life it is behind for noc related issues.
But in terms of location , it has better location than bahria, pwd soan,jinnah if you commute daily in main isb it will give peace of mind
everything is available in commercials
I think gulberg is much better than ghouri town. In ghouri town new houses utility connections are problem. Although bribery is working there but real peace of mind is in gulberg as compared to GT. Development in gulberg will also take time as IB is slow in nature.
Having said above GT is attracting buyers as Raja Waqas said...getting things done with bribery is now norm in our society.
Big negative in GT is follow up repairs...even main roads are broken and no repair activity could be seen most of places!
Yes, true but if there is no Gas Pipeline/Water connections in the area, payments under the table don’t work either…
