I am a Cristian. My aunt adopted me because my mother was out of mind and divorced and about 2 month ago, she passed away. She was a 17 grade headmistress. We claimed for her gratuity and pension. My second aunt husband claim for my guardian because my uncle who adopted me also passed away but he marry two wives one adopt me and another have 3 sons who all are married and they also claim for my aunt gratuity and pension please tell me that I have a legal right to take the money or not. I’m very stressed, I really need that money to continue my studies. I am 14 years old.
You have the right to inherit your mother's estate but I am not sure of the rules that apply to inheritance for Christians. I would strongly suggest that you should meet a lawyer.
