Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation has approved the start of development work in Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme Phase II, reported a news source. The approval was granted during meeting of the executive committee chaired by Federal Minister of Housing and Works.
Development work on the project was put on halt on orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan, which has lately announced that shamlat land will not be used for this project.
The executive committee was told that joint venture firm for Bhara Kahu Housing Scheme Phase II has 67,000 kanals land in ownership. The housing project for members of Supreme Court Bar Association in Mouza Tuma and Mouza Morian were also discussed in the meeting.
