Karachi: Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo on Thursday announced that the Sindh government was keen on resolving the various issues faced by the industrial zones in the province, according to a news source.

The minister stated that the provincial government was committed to resolving issues pertaining to the drainage system, water supply, infrastructure, street lights and encroachments, etc. faced by the industrial zones across Sindh.
Dharejo revealed this information during a meeting with a delegation from the Rice Association Kandhkot in his office. He informed the delegation’s members that the provincial government would also consider reducing the annual fee for development charges in the industrial zones.

The minister stated that they were closely working with the association of Small Industries in order to make efforts to resolve ssues faced by industrialists in the province. He added that through this measure, the government hoped to create a better working environment for small industries in Sindh.
