Islamabad: Officials of the Islamabad Police on Wednesday held a meeting with representatives of the capital city’s trader’s union during which the two sides formulated a plan to solve encroachment and security related issues in Islamabad, a news source reported.

Following directions of Inspector General Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, Superintendent of Police (Industrial Area) Zubair Ahmed Sheikh, Assistant Superintendent of Police Zohaib Ranjha, Station House Officer Inspector Muhammad Ashraf met with Islamabad United Group Chairman Habib Ullah Zahid and other office bearers of the union.

They discussed the ways to enhance security around business vicinities of the capital city. Previously, the IGP Islamabad had ordered the capital police officials to hold meetings with traders in order to identify security measures in the area.
