Rawalpindi: The Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) and the Islamabad chief commissioner recently approved the issuance of a no-objection certificate (NoC) for the establishment of a new double-decker tourist bus service to connect visitors with some of the twin cities’ most scenic locations, according to news sources.

The project is expected to be launched by late February or early March, and the tourist bus will be designed to seat 100 passengers at a time. In addition, the route that the bus will follow through the twin cities has already been finalised, with its central terminal expected to be located at Allama Iqbal Park on Double Road in Shamsabad and its final stop at Faisal Mosque.

The bus will additionally cover Shakarparian, Lok Virsa, Chand Tara, China Complex, Serena Hotel, Parliament House, Centaurus mall and other tourist spots in the twin cities.
