Peshawar: The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Australia Pakistan Chamber (APC) to promote bilateral trade, facilitate the exchange of business delegations, and to profit from their mutual experiences, according to news sources.

The MoU was signed at a ceremony held at the Pakistan Consulate Office in Sydney. SCCI President Engineer Maqsood Anwar Pervaiz and APC President Muhammad Asif signed the document on behalf of their respective departments.
The SCCI president said that the agreement between the two entities was a landmark initiative, one that that would help strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries. He also lauded the APC for their generous reception and praised the cooperation of the Pakistani consulate in facilitating the economic ties between Pakistan and Australia.

In addition, APC President Muhammad Asif highlighted the benefits of a collaboration between the two chambers and vowed to strengthen the bond further in the future.
