Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Sohail Khawaja has directed the relevant staff to make the Town Planning Section FDA more active – a news source reported. He further directed that the process of approval for housing colonies should be made more transparent and easier.

He further said that the problems of the public should be resolved on priority and all the departments are making full efforts. He was talking to the citizens who had visited his office with complaints. FDA Director Town Planning Mahr Ayub, Deputy Director Admin Yasir Aijaz Chattha and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.

On the basis of the public complaints, he also directed the relevant officials and staff that the administrative action should be taken against housing societies which do not have basic utilities or which use the utility plots for commercial or other purposes.
