Swabi: The residents of Katgram village, located in the Gadoon Amazai region of Swabi, have commenced with the rehabilitation work of a decrepit nine-kilometer-long road in the area, a news source reported. As per the publication, the dilapidated route had been causing locals a number of difficulties while commuting and transporting goods to and from the village.

The road has been in a dilapidated condition for several years but the authorities responsible seemed to have ignored its development and did not reconstruct the road. The residents also urged the political leaders and the public representatives in their area to help, but they did not receive a positive response.

The road connects Katgram village with four other villages, including Shny, Serai, Kolagar, and Achilay and is said to have been built over fifteen years ago. Reportedly, the residents grew tired of waiting and gathered donations to repair the road on their own.
