Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan on Thursday said that the provincial government provide its approval to the Gwadar breakwater project on a timely basis – in order to address the issues of the fishermen community, a news source reported.

He told a delegation of the Fishermen Itihad Community that the project would be approved in the district development working party’s upcoming meeting. The delegation raised a number of issues before the provincial chief minister, including delays in the breakwater project and sewage issues in Gwadar city.

CM Kamal further directed the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) to expedite work on sewerage projects in the city. The delegation showed optimism over CM Kamal’s guarantee regarding the prevailing problems.
