Under this project, the concerned departments will rehabilitate buildings located on the city’s oldest and longest avenue, Murree Road. In addition to rehabilitating the structures that need mending, the PHA will also beautify these buildings. For this purpose, all public and private buildings on Murree Road will be repainted. The government will bear the expense for painting the properties of owners who cannot afford to repaint their property.

Under the ‘Glorious Rawalpindi Project’, the PHA will also plant saplings and install electronic billboards. The billboards on Murree Road will also be designed to give a clean symmetrical look. Work on this urban beautification project will kick off this month.
