Lahore: The Galiyat Snow Festival 2020 will begin from January 31 in Nathiagali; along with other scenic spots in the region — a news source reported. The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) and Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) are jointly organising the three-day event.
The festival will showcase a wide array of entertaining
activities for tourists and other visitors. These will include a bonfire, snow
football, snow hiking, camping, snow tubing, biking, skiing, vlog competitions,
snow cartoons, jeep rally, and food stalls. A musical night will also be part
of the gala, featuring renowned artists
like Umair Jaswal, Ali Azmat, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and many more.
TCKP and GDA will organise the event in various locations, including Nathiagali, Ayubia, Dongagali, Khanispur, and Mushkpuri Top. The festival, which will conclude on February 2, is an opportunity to be part of one of the country’s biggest adventure events of the year.
Both authorities have ensured the availability of better
facilities and arrangements for the event. Officials expect a significant
number of tourists and visitors to attend and participate in tourist activities
and adventure events on the snow; along with enjoying the incredible music and
food on display.
