Mansehra: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Tourism Department recently approved funds worth PKR 530 million for the carpeting of roads in the Mansehra district, a news source reported. As per the publication, these funds will be used by the authorities concerned to compete the development of various roads leading to the newly explored tourist sites located in the region.

Advisor to Chief Minister (CM) on Population Ahmad Hussain Shah stated that the provincial government wanted to open more tourist spots in Mansehra. He added that the tourism department had sanctioned the funds for the construction of roads in Manoor and Kaghan valleys, along with other parts of the district. He revealed this information while talking to media persons in Garhi Habibullah on Sunday.

Shah also took the opportunity to reiterate the provincial government’s desire to prioritize the promotion of tourism in the region. The adviser to the CM added that the departments concerned would focus on carpeting the bumpy roads leading to tourist spots in Kaghan Valley, Ghanool, Manoor Valley, and Garhi Habibullah.
