The RD will finalise a firm and award it the contract for creating the master plan after receiving bids from interested firms. The previous master plan for the city included planning for the city alone; this time, however, the RDA has decided to make plans for the entire district. For this purpose, the terms of reference for Rawalpindi Master Plan have also been altered.
