Minister Mahmood stated that the Eastern Bypass would enable people travelling from Islamabad to enter the city through a shorter route, as they would no longer need to go through the Thokar Niaz Baig route. He added that the traffic flow coming from Sialkot would also use the bypass and would not impede traffic in the area.
