Sargodha: Sargodha Commissioner Dr. Farrukh Masood on Thursday directed the commissioners of all tehsils to launch a crackdown against all illegal commercial plazas and shops in the district, a news source reported. As per the publication, this decision was taken during a meeting of the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency.

Presiding over the meeting, Commissioner Masood ordered the officials concerned to take legal action against all plazas and shops that have been constructed in violation of their official building plans or without procuring an approval from the relevant government authorities first.

The meeting also discussed matters related to illegal construction activity witnessed in three housing schemes in Mianwali. Furthermore, the officials briefed the commissioner that work on matters related to commercialization activity in Bhakar and Khushab had been completed.

The commissioner instructed the meeting members to have zero tolerance against illegal construction activities and to take stern action against the developers of such projects.
