Karachi: The authorities have decided to hold computerised balloting for shops and offices of parking plaza located in Karachi’s Lines Area near Saddar – a news source reported. This was announced by Karachi Development Authority Director General Dr Syed Saif-ur-Rehman while on a visit of the area.

He further announced that the ballot for 160 shops on ground floor and mezzanine and 118 offices located on sixth and seventh floor will be held in February. The balloting will be monitored by A F Ferguson & Co.
To participate in the balloting, the citizens will be able to obtain the requisite forms from any branch of United Bank Limited at a cost of PKR 3,000.

According to the Project Director Lines Area Redevelopment Mubeen Siddiqui the shops in the parking plaza will priced between PKR 5 million and PKR 7 million, while the offices will be priced between PKR 1 million and PKR 3 million.
