Multan: Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) Managing Director (MD) Nasir Shehzad Dogar on Thursday revealed that a working paper for the city’s beautification, as per the directives issued by Multan Commissioner Amir Khattak, had been finalised, a news source reported.

According to the official, work on implementation of the approved working paper is already underway. For this purpose, the MWMC has issued notices to the administrations of both private and public school to place waste bins at the entrance of their institutions.

Dogar said that placing the waste bins in public places was aimed at preventing littering. He further statedthat getting public on board was vital towards making Multan a cleaner city under the slogan of ‘Green and Clean is Our Perfect Dream’. He also mentioned that by fining those found littering the public areas is meant to remind them of their duty to keep the city clean.
