Lahore: TPL Trakker, Pakistan’s first Internet of things (IoT) company and a subsidiary of the TPL Corp investment firm, recently signed an agreement with the Department of Agricultural Engineering (DAE) Punjab to boost agricultural productivity and promote technological transformation in the province, a news source reported.

As a result of the partnership, TPL Trakker will supply monitoring and tracking services for heavy technological machinery and conduct coverage for DAE in remote areas across the province to increase efficiency and productivity.

TPL Trakker Head of Sales Talha Dawood and Punjab Agricultural Engineering Field Director General (DG) Ghulam Siddique signed the agreement at the DAE Head Office in the city.

Talha Dawood spoke on the occasion and said that the current initiative would induce a change of technological transformation in the agricultural sector. He added that TPL’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology would help DAE in developing a strong agricultural framework.
