Qurtaba City

Inspired by the designs and architectural brilliance of medieval Cordoba (which epitomized the late 10th century magnificence of Muslim Spain), Qurtaba City has been built as a modern representation of the ancient city. In the project’s construction, Islamic teachings of design and symmetry have been kept at the forefront, and special arrangements are on the cards for people desirous of learning and practicing their faith on a day-to-day basis.

For imparting quality education, a Qurtaba International University campus, set on 872 kanals of land, has also been planned; to be situated right within the center of the project. The university will disseminate all modern educational disciplines to its students, along with providing courses in Islamic studies. For this end, it will host a number of religious education departments. This facility will come complemented with a 200-kanal grand Jamiah mosque compound, featuring tiled walls, marble flooring and intricate craftsmanship.

The project’s main boulevard is 300 ft. wide, whereas 200 ft. wide roads have been designed for interconnecting its different sections. .

What’s more, Qurtaba City has dedicated commercial areas in each block, as well as centrally-located shopping malls coupled with a market compound. A 70-kanal commercial area reserved exclusively for women has also been planned, where the residents’ mothers, daughters, wives and sisters will be able to enjoy their shopping escapades without any privacy issues.

And if all this is not enough, Qurtaba City will also feature a community club where hosting arrangements can be made for special occasions like engagements, weddings, and other festivities. The developers, further, plan to build a state-of-the-art hospital where top-notch medical services will be provided. Qurtaba City is located within the scenic Potohar valley, between the two cascading rivers of Sill and Sawan, near the beautiful Khairi Moorat hills – just 45 minutes away from hustle and bustle of Islamabad and Rawalpindi (off the Chakri interchange, Motorway, with its own 100 ft. wide road connecting it with the M2 network).
