Two days ago i came to know Punjab Govt has allocated 24 Bn Rupees for Rawalpindi. Out of which 11 Bn will be for RRR. 5 Bn will be for Dadocha dam, Modern Graveyard, Kohsar University etc. Remaining 8 Bn will be for 57 Km Gas Pipeline installation in Murree.
I dont think 11 Bn will be enough for Re-proposed 35 km Radio Pakistan to Thallan Interchange RRR. May be govt has already purchased the land So they want to divided the budget for few years accordingly.
This is How a Mega Project has turned to be a Normal Govt Road. lolz.

Which news is correct. Its difficult to guess.
Hamayun brother, Going by the source, Dawn would carry more authenticity.
However, sometimes it’s just wording if not ADP (which is proper medium to allocate by provinces under NFC), probabaly some general allocation (which will be a joke).
Sometimes when the Govt. have no clue, there will be opposing and contradictory news (neither Yes, nor No) to linger on …

imtiaz bhai. I have read the same news somewhere else also. Regardng 11 bn for RRR. But i forget where!
Similarly dunia news reported it first that there is no allocation for RRR. Today dawn reported the same.
Ithink only near future announcement can clear the confusion.
Abdul qayyum bhai, its my recent experience that news reporters make mistakes.
Dawn was regularly reporting MA and its reporting was good. But after work was about to start, The News jumped in & claimed MA work will get started in 6 months.
But very next day FWO got their machinery there. Newspapers depend on reporters , and reporters may make mistakes in understanding, reporting or doing research work as they are human as well.
The point: Dawn Reported what was fed to him out of a meeting. That’s how the journalism works (whether good or bad), to report what has been fed!
If that was untrue/non-authentic, why they weren’t taken to the court? The leaks had political fall out and the reason was simple: What Dawn reported was authentic, whether that should had been reported/leaked or not is a POLITICAL decision not a JOURNALISTIC one!
I will trust Dawn more on News than Garaana and for that sake I will most probabaly trust Garaana on RE issues more than Dawn! About common sense and expertise!
Infact DAWN had the spine to report explicitly when one of its CEO was named as an alleged in a Ra*e case!
Imtiaz bhai do u remember bombay attacks inindia and geo news reporting that shows pakistan is involved? Similarly hamid mir fone call caused colonel.imam to get martyred in terrorists hands. They all said in the end that its reporting guess mistake. So they should not get punniched to bring to court as per internalional journalism practices.

Here the point is better credability/authenticity of news between Dawn vs Garaana (or whatever source it gets the info). The Print Media!
I shall prefer dawn too. But two different reports means there is confusion between reporters.
It’s by design, the RE centres websites or portals will exaggerate things, as it fits their agenda. Zameen is an example too.
For the sake of development, I would endorse a go ahead of the RRR, any day. However, in administrations and executives it’s a centuries old strategy to spread opposing views to confuse and distract the masses from actual issue.
Less voices are about bringing the culprits to the justice, more concerns are about whether RRR will resume (sooner/later) or not. That’s where distractions and confusions are best tools …

AQ Bhai, my main point was credability of A vs B.
Rest, even if take it to courts like party funds (not an individual but an entire lot that’s ruling the country) on dodgy sources of money trail, it’s on a legal stay for years!! This is just one incidence and many of such in incidents are countless!!
Law in PAK, as per usual saying is a spider’s web, too Strong for the Weaker and too Weak for the Stronger who can tear that apart to run through it …
The bottom line: it’s never been about Party A vs Part B vs Whatever Party X it has been, it is, and it will be about Elite vs Awam, rest is all staged and we are just the crowd on whose money the show is being run.
WWE - A show run by the money, for the money (so called wrestlers are performers), same is PAK politics (politicians are just show men).
