On Thursday, December 26, Zameen Developments officially awarded the construction contract for its flagship Zameen Opal project — in an elaborate signing ceremony held in Zameen.com's Head Office in Lahore — to Mukhtar Sons Constructions Pvt Ltd; with Zameen.com CEO Zeeshan Ali Khan and Mukhtar Sons CEO Umair Amjad acting as the signatories to the agreement.
Speaking on the occasion, Khan said that the company had ventured into the development sector with a purpose to address housing shortage across the country. He further stated that vertical development was the only way to counteract the worsening situation of housing in major cities.
He also reiterated Zameen Developments' commitment to developing quality projects throughout the country.
Zameen.com’s Director Project Development Fahad Arif Khawaja said that the construction of projects without thorough research or analysis comprises a major concern for real estate stakeholders — adding that Zameen Developments is geared to change this decades old practice.
