Lahore’s real estate market has expanded to leaps and bounds. New opportunities seem to be emerging in the outskirts of the metropolis, and the most prominent developments can be seen on Raiwind Road, which is host to a number of projects.
According to Zameen.com Trends, the most famous projects are:
- Al-Kabir Town
- Etihad Town
- Dream Housing Society
Al-Kabir Town
This real estate project has emerged to prominence recently. On Zameen.com Trends, Al Kabir Town has moved up from 10th position to 4th last month, and 1st place this month. Properties on offer here offer good value for money, especially in the short term.
Bounded in the same vicinity, Phases I and II offer 3- and 5-marla plots. Phase I has just two blocks, whereas Phase II has eight. The price of 3-marla plots is PKR 1,500,000, while a 5-marla plots costs PKR 2,500,000.
Development in Phase I is complete and possession is also available, with a large number of people are already living here. All construction work is done, except for gas connection. In Phase II, development is complete in almost four blocks, and possession is available in 2 blocks. On the other hand, development work is underway in the remaining blocks.
According to Ahmad Hassan from The Property Magnates, the 3- and 5-marla residential plots offer price competitiveness which ensures that a lot of people can buy properties here.
Etihad Town
Etihad Town is another project that is attracting a lot of attention from buyers. This is primarily because Raiwind Road is lined with new and exciting projects that cater to a range of budgets, making it one of the most sought-after projects in the area. The project consists of 3 blocks, all of which have been completed. All utility connections are available here, except for gas, which according to Rehman, will be given after almost 30% of the area has been inhabited.
According to Ateeq ur Rehman from AKT Estate & Builders, all development is complete and the price per marla is PKR 1,150,000 for a 5-marla plot, whereas it is PKR 1,050,000/marla for a 10-marla plot. Possession is expected to be given in 1-2 weeks to buyers who have completed their payment, whereas, the payment schedule is expected to complete by 30th November this year.
Rehman has observed that 5-marla plots are doing really well, primarily because he believes that it is easy to buy and with the market for 5-marla on the rise, the demand is also met with supply.

Dream Housing Society
This is a relatively new project as it was launched almost two months ago. On offer are residential plots of 3-, 5-, 7-, and 10-marla, as well as 1-kanal. Commercial plots are of 4-, and 5-marla. As this is a new project, there is a considerable amount of development work that has to be done, and the builders seem to be on top of it.
According to Arsalan Azeem from Shani Estate & Builders, the rates of plot files are:
3 marla: PKR 1,600,000
5marla: PKR 2,600,000
7 marla: PKR 3,400,000
10 marla: PKR 4,700,000
1 kanal: PKR 7,500,000
Whereas, down payment for these are:
3 marla: PKR 350,000
5 marla: PKR 600,000
7 marla: PKR 700,000
10 marla: PKR 850,000
1 kanal: PKR 1,300,000
Development work is underway and with continued interest from buyers and investors, the project seems to be headed in the right direction.
