Grand Opening: Bahria Adventure Land Karachi – 1st Nov
First off, let’s talk about the most-hyped event of the month. Bahria Town, Karachi, is being developed at a rapid pace, and different precincts and projects are being launched from time to time. This time, it’s the much-awaited launch of Bahria’s amusement park, named Bahria Adventure Land.
The amusement park contains a range of family-friendly entertainment options such as imported rides, play area for kids, and food stalls. The launch will open up the park’s various attractions for the public, along with a spectacular fireworks display that will leave you spellbound. Visit Bahria Town to witness the grand opening.
About the Organiser: The event has been organised by Bahria Town as part of its housing project in Karachi. The developers are famous for their luxurious housing communities across Pakistan and need no introduction.

Grand Film Festival II – 9th & 10th Nov
Port Grand is hosting the Grand Film Festival (Part 2) based on the overwhelming response it received on the first event, which was held in July 2019. Like the last one, this film festival in Karachi promises to be a night to enjoy films, food, and fun with family and friends. The open air space will be screening Oscar-winning movies along with films made by Media Studies’ students from some of the top universities and institutes in Karachi. A few of the contributions might also be from independent filmmakers. The makers of the winning films will receive a cash prize of up to PKR 15,000.
About the Organiser: Port Grand is an open-air food street built as an entertainment hub with a stage, a 4-D cinema, an art gallery, and lots more.

Solis Music & Arts Festival is bringing some world-famous musicians to Karachi in November 2019. This is the third edition of the Solis Festival, with the first two concerts being held in Islamabad and Lahore earlier this year. The line-up for Karachi includes Clean Bandit [DJ Set], Kill The Buzz, Oceanvs Orientalis, FDVM, Turhan James, and many more.
About the Organiser: Solis Music & Arts Festival is Pakistan’s first and largest concert series with successful events in Islamabad and Lahore.

DAP Presents Chalta Phirta Documentary Festival – 16th & 17th Nov
The Chalta Phirta Documentary Festival is one of the latest initiatives of the Documentary Association of Pakistan (DAP). Organised to be a travelling documentary festival, the aim behind the event is to bring some of Pakistan’s best documentaries to the fore and give them the limelight they deserve on home ground. The festival will travel through 11 cities, showcasing documentaries named ‘Dunkey and The Sinner’, ‘A Walnut Tree’, and ‘Sindhustan and Armed with Faith’ on the 16th and 17th of November in Karachi. The film screenings will then be followed by discussions on the subject matter.
About the Organiser: Documentary Association of Pakistan (DAP) is an organisation that is trying to promote the art of making documentaries in Pakistan and also wants to promote the culture of watching and discussing documentaries and their subject matter. The team includes a number of acclaimed filmmakers from Pakistan.
