The constant development in Islamabad’s Zone II and how it interests investors right now suggests that this part of the capital will soon start to see an influx of the end users. This will essentially take shape over the long term, but will have an indisputable impact because most of the active projects here are housing societies.
So, which of these societies are fit for the end users right now? The answer to this may vary from person to person, but we have only picked the projects where possession has been granted, connection for different utility services is available, a decent number of families are already settled and most of all, plot prices are reasonable. Based on these parameters, ideal options for genuine buyers looking to construct a house soon include:
Gulshan-e-Sehat E-18
Health Employees Cooperative Housing Society (HECHS), also known as Gulshan-e-Sehat E-18, is located on Fateh Jang Road, opposite Faisal Town. Here, property possession is available in Blocks A, B, and D while development work is underway in other blocks and expected soon in Block E. Fazia Housing Scheme Tarnol
Being a project of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Fazaia Housing Scheme Tarnol is among the most reliable housing societies for end users. It is located on Fateh Jang Road right on M-2’s Tarnol Interchange. Due to delays seen in the inauguration of the Islamabad International Airport in the past and the consequent drop seen in investment activity, property rates here experienced drops, which are reversing.
PAF Tarnol is currently expanding as more land is being acquired and developed as Extensions for Block C and H. These are the only parts of the society where property possession is not available. In addition to that, the society also has connections available for water, gas, and electricity and is thus home to a considerably high number of families. Compared to the actual potential of society, rates are deemed reasonable, have a look:
Block | Plot Size | Prices in |
A | 300 yd2 | PKR 4,500,000 – PKR 5,500,000 |
B | 300 yd2 | PKR 6,000,000 – PKR 6,500,000 |

These were some of the societies genuine buyers looking to construct a house in Islamabad’s Zone II can safely consider. Experts believe that initiation of flight operations from the Islamabad International Airport will increase the construction activity in the neighbourhood, causing a gradual yet consistent rise in rates.
