Good that you picked this HS to discuss. But you failed to see the background /ownership issues of the scheme. It started with a individual developer who sold it to Rafi Group (Imtiaz Rafi etc) and after couple of years, they further sold it to another group. Now its in Millennium Developers hand (If I’m not mistaken). Over these year, the society hasn’t seen any substantial development keeping in view that its not coop HS but a Pvt Developer own it. Anyhow, my guess is development will be slow in future also based on interest of the developer.

About 1976 Plots balloting (Royal Enclave, A-B-C & D blocks) has been carried out in Feb-Mar 2016. Which consist of 3 Marla (223 Plots) 5 Marla (1161 Plots) 7 Marla (229 Plots) 10 Marla (284 Plots) 1 Kanal (79 Plots). Other balloting is expected before Ramzan / After Ramzan.
3) Development work is in full swing. One must visit the society and observe the pace of work…. Royal Enclave almost developed (75 %) and its possession is expected in Jan-Feb 2017.
Salam, I am one of the member of New Lahore City from 1st Badge, in above i found that next balloting will be before Ramadan 2017, let me tell you its 2018 Ramadan is on the way and we have no information of balloting yet even no one responding on our queries. They have shifted their office from City area to site area and now its difficult for the members to visit site for follow up. My family visited there few days before and found that all staff already left due to PSL match and no body respond back on message dropped at site.
Furthermore, few years back there was a public notice from Zaitoon Group that they have no further business relations with New Lahore city and not responsible any dispute in this regard.
Surprisingly New Lahore city still using there name and mysteriously no action from Zaitoon Group. Now we have a serious doubts on New Lahore City
Can you please update us on Central park and Grand Avenue? their prices?

As I was suggested couple of years ago by a close friend, I would recommend NLC to all. Not only what is mentioned in Anam’s brief report but also for settling in the community.
I’ve been to NLC office, the staff is welcoming and approachable. Rafi and Zaitoon Group are trustworthy and responsible group.
The Development is not quite much but reaching there. Should catch up the speed now.

you should not misguide public. the management is playing unfair games. they are not responding to oldest plot holders who have cleared all the dues and have forced them to sell out their files. Further, another public notice has been given by Rafi group in may jang disassociating themselves with Zaitoon Group which is also unfair on part of Rafi Group.
Ali, i think you have right assessment of this project. its seems that possession area plots deliberate announced at high rates so that non possession area plots show cheap and trap the innocent people who don’t know the history of this project. Its a “Big Game”..

I second you that NLC is a good society to invest in which anyone can get higher return/profit in short time (may be 1-2 years).
But I would like to tell you that every society has +Ve and -Ve things. I am sorry to say that you have highlighted only positive things of NLC but not highlighted the clear picture/issues about which everyone should know before investing hard earned money.
Actually, NLC has deceived (and still deceiving) all the old customers who have booked at the time of society launch. NLC got approval (from LDA; approved map is on LDA website) of 346 Kanals in 2011 and not allocated that land to anyone till now. NLC has acquired/purchased more land (4 blocks) and allocated (so called pre-allocation) to those customers who have paid all the dues (other than development charges) and booked plot till June 2011 through overnight Balloting without informing/in front of all customers.
Following are the major issues which I would like to highlight:
1. One of the major issues is NLC did pre-allocation for new land and reselling old land (346 Kanals) again on 300% rate by rename it to Oversees Block A. This land was the right of old customers but NLC is looting and not responding to customers queries for this land.
2. Apparently, Map is still with LDA and not approved yet. If anyone ask to LDA, LDA says no map from NLC for approval (Anyone can get this status by visiting LDA office @ Johar Town). If someone ask to NLC, NLC says map is approved therefore they are doing development but they failed to show any prove of approval to clients.
3. Some of the customers haven’t received any pre-allocation letter/plot allocation even they have registered/purchased plot(s) before June 2011 and cleared all the dues on time.
4. New buyers are hesitating invest in NLC because of NLC repute which is become worst in the market.
Last but not the least, NLC is not taking all the existing customers in loop and not updating in proper manners. In 2011, 2012 and 2013 they had arranged family galas to bring more people in and sale more plots. But after getting a huge money from new as well as older customers, they are investing (invested in last 4 years as well) somewhere else. They are reselling the already sold land on higher rates and planning to continue development with the money which they are getting after selling the old 346 Kanals land.
I suggest, NLC should arrange a meeting with all the existing customers and take all of them in confidence. Otherwise, they will loss the market and good repute.
Do let me know if you required proof of anything which I wrote above.

1) LDA add is available where they confirmed NLC submit the appliation for phase 2 approval, without any surety how NLC can invest billions on road and infrastructure in phase 2….!
2) I booked my plot in 2011 and paid all installments on time. My name is in balloting else of i do not have any link with management of NLC…..!
Its true and no proof needed. Our society is heading towards disaster. Our hard money is being looted by the powerful groups who are not questionable at all.

I have gone through your provided link and as per my understanding the NLC area was announced agricultural in 2004 and now LDA has decided that they cant retrieve the area now where socities have been built or under progress.

I bought a 10 marla plot 3 years ago in new lahore city and i was asked to pay 7 lakh as development charges. Now I have been told that development charges have climbed to 17 lakh. Can you share some details on it?
Living overseas I thought it’s a great location and property dealer who was trying to sell my brother a plot here said all good things about NLC . For all overseas Pakiatanis I highly recommend to visit location before you buy plot anywhere. Do your own research when you go visit Pakistan. Online and in pictures/brochures every housing project looks amazing.
Now when I personally made a visit to New Lahore City. It was quite far from main city area and I didn’t see a lot of development inside NLC. Their office inside was very nice and staff did welcome me warmly but when I asked key questions about plots location/ balloting I did not get satisfactory answers.
What they show in online ad or brochure online is very expensive block but the location that my brother was told by property dealer was somewhere where there was no development and no sign of any plotting or anything done. They could not even identity properly where that block was.
Now this was ,my experience. I don’t say buy or don’t buy here but definitely do visit personally and don’t believe in one person. Ask several people to get an honest answer
