- For PhD, the age of the applicant must be below 35 years
- The recipients of the scholarship will join their selected programmes between September and October each year in the Kingdom
- The candidate must not be holding any other academic grant at the time of availing scholarship in Saudi Arabia for Pakistani students
- The applicant must not have any criminal record
- The applicant must not have a history of being suspended from any educational institution on any valid ground
- Any other requirement set by the respective universities in Saudi Arabia or the government.

The Saudi Arabia scholarships for Pakistani students in 2022 offer the following benefits:
- Free accommodation
- Monthly stipend of 900 SR for science students and 850 SR for humanities students
- Return air ticket
- Subsidised meals at the campus
- A three-month furnishing allowance on arrival in the Kingdom for married scholars
- Free medical for the students and their families, if married
- Three months’ graduation allowance for shipment of books
- Sports and recreational activities on the campus as well as support for dependents and travel expenses

Step 1: Visit the websites or online portals of the selected universities in Saudi Arabia.
Step 2: Check out the eligibility criteria for admissions in each discipline or course offered at the chosen university.
Step 3: Apply directly for admission in the preferred institution keeping in mind the application time frame and other requirements.
Step 4: Share a copy of the submitted application with the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh by sending an email at Pahrepriyad@mofa.gov.pk for follow-up.
Step 5: The university will forward your application to the Saudi Ministry of Education, which will then award scholarships to selected candidates
